When I started this website back in March 2017, I had no idea of the things I was going to do with the blog. After nearly two and a half years, this blog has led me to becoming a better writer than I was when I started the blog and have decided to halt blogging on Mehtaphors.
As you are reading this, I am currently on a flight across the country starting a great new job similar to blogging that is why I decided to stop writing on this one, because I want to divide my full attention to that new job. Even though this is going to be the last blog on here for a while, I am not going away. I am going to continue using the Twitter account to rant about the Yankees and the Jets and you might see a surprise blog here and there, but it is going to really difficult for me to have a set blogging schedule when I have other things on my plate, so I think the best decision for me right now is to end this blog.
Without Mehtaphors, I would still be a fat slob doing absolutely nothing with my life and so I am going to keep this domain active and all 467 blogs I have written are still live on the website for anyone to read and mock me for being the worst blogger on the internet.
I really want to thank everyone that read my blogs over the last 2.5 years, I would be nothing without this blog and when the Yankees win the 2019 World Series and the Jets win the 2020 Super Bowl, this website will be the place to be but until that happens, things are going to be barren here.
As I said earlier, I am keeping my Twitter account active and will continue to tweet from that account so if you really want to hear my terrible takes, that is where you can find them.
Once again thank you to all the readers and see you on the other side.
