The Yankees are F*CKING SAVAGES and have the BEST record in baseball

I want EVERYONE that HATED Aaron Boone to APOLOGIZE to me RIGHT NOW

The New York Yankees HOSTED the Tampa Bay DEVIL Rays this week in a battle of the Top TWO team in the AL East and AFTER the series, the Yankees have the BEST record in baseball and have a EIGHT game lead in the division. Throughout the series, manager Aaron Boone was a quote MACHINE giving us words to LIVE by for the REST of the season. This weekend the Colorado Rockies come to town as guys like DJ LeMahieu, Adam Ottavino, AND Mike Tauchman will play against their FORMER teams as the Yankees look to BUILD on their GREAT season.

Yankees vs DEVIL Rays Series RECAP:

Game ONE- The DEVIL Rays came into the week with a SIX game DEFICIT in the standings and they NEEDED to WIN this series if they wanted to CATCH the Yankees for the AL East CROWN. In the FIRST game of the series, the Rays took the EARLY lead thanks to Travis d’Arnaud hitting TWO solo shots off James Paxton. The BIG Maple was GREAT in his start outside of facing d’Arnaud and he CONTINUES to climb UP the Yankee rotation TRUST TREE and the pitcher the Yankees traded for from the Seattle Mariners.

The Yankees MANAGED to TIE the game at TWO and then Edwin Encarnacion managed to have a BIG Yankee moment, some MIGHT say that he EARNED his Pinstripes to give the Yankees the lead LATE in the game.

Aroldis Chapman came in for the SAVE in the NINTH and with TWO runners on base, Travis d’Arnaud was at the plate and the DEVIL Rays were on their LAST strike of the game and d’Arnaud hit his THIRD home run of the game to give the DEVIL Rays a 5-4 lead, which they held on to and WON the FIRST game of the series.

This was a HEARTBREAKING loss for the Yankees as they had the game in the bag and a CHEAP Yankee Stadium home run CUT their lead down to FIVE in the standings.

Game TWO: The Yankees coming off the SURPRISE loss on Monday had CC Sabathia on the mound, who was GREAT on Tuesday. Sabathia had THREE bad pitches during his SIX inning start, UNFORTUNATELY for him, ALL three BAD pitches resulted in RUNS for the DEVIL Rays so the Yankees were DOWN 3-1 when CC was taken OUT of the game.

As CC was EXITING the game, he got into a verbal BATTLE with the DEVIL Rays and that seemed to SPARK the Yankee clubhouse who looked LACKLUSTER for the SECOND straight night.

The Yankee offense seemed to WAKE UP thanks to this CC BRAWL and DJ LeMahieu cut the DEFICIT to ONE with a SOLO shot and SUDDENLY there was LIFE in Yankee Stadium.

The game was still at 3-2 going into the EIGHTH and with a runner on base, Aaron Judge MISSED a GO-AHEAD home run by just THREE feet and then on the NEXT pitch, he gave the Yankees the LEAD.

The FLOODGATES had OPENED for the Yankees following the Judge home run and Didi Gregorius put the EXCLAMATION point on the game.

The Yankees were able to CLOSE out this game and got the WIN on Tuesday night to bring back the division LEAD to SIX. Following the game, manager Aaron Boone was asked about the team WAKING UP following the CC CONFRONTATION, he said that the Yankees are “Always Pretty Lit”, while that quote is GREAT, it was NOT EVEN close to the BEST quote from Boone in the series.

There was a TON of rain in the New York area on Wednesday which caused the THIRD game of the series to be POSTPONED to Thursday for a DOUBLEHEADER.

Game THREE: After a POSTPONEMENT on Wednesday night and a 1.5 hour DELAY on Thursday afternoon, we FINALLY had baseball in the Bronx and Domingo German had an AWFUL start to the game. He gave up home runs to the first TWO batters of the game and the Yankees were playing from BEHIND once again. German CALMED DOWN after that and those were the ONLY runs he gave up in his SIX inning start and got his TWELFTH win of the season, which is TIED for MOST in baseball.

Playing from BEHIND for the THIRD straight game, the Yankees NEEDED a SPARK and this time it was Gio Urshela who TIED the game with ONE swing of the bat in the SECOND.

The NEXT batter after Gio was Brett Gardner and he was called OUT on a QUESTIONABLE strike call which seemed to AGITATE the Yankees and then during DJ LeMahieu’s at bat, Aaron Boone had ENOUGH and we got an ALL TIME rant from the Yankee manager.

With the game TIED at TWO, the Yankees managed to score THREE runs in the FIFTH inning on a BUNCH of singles and had a 5-2 lead and then Aaron Hicks ADDED to that lead with a SMOOTH batflip.

The Yankees CLOSED OUT the game and went on to WIN the FIRST game of the doubleheader.

Game THREE: In the SECOND game of the day, the Yankees went with a Bullpen game and they are UNDEFEATED this season in those games with Chad Green getting the start.

Green LOADED the bases in the FIRST, but gave up NO runs and then Nestor Cortes Jr. came in as the LONG reliever and he was FINE giving up just ONE run, making way for Luis Cessa and the FRONT end of the Yankee bullpen.

The Yankees had TRAILED for the FOURTH game of the series, but Luke Voit was able to BREAK THROUGH against Charlie Morton, who has DOMINATED the Yankees this season.

In the SIXTH inning, the Yankees LOADED the BASES for Didi, but this time he did NOT have the chance for ANOTHER Grand Slam as the Yankees scored on a Balk and then Didi drove in TWO to give the Yankees a 4-1 lead. The Yankees added ANOTHER in the inning on a BASES LOADED Walk.

The Bullpen did the job to give the Yankees a 5-1 WIN and they remain UNDEFEATED this season in Bullpen games.

This was a HUGE series for the Yankees as they now have an EIGHT game lead in the division and CURRENTLY have the BEST record in baseball over the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The quotes from Aaron Boone have RALLIED the fanbase, who are in LOVE with him and with a STRONG showing over the Rockies this weekend the momentum will STRENGTHEN.

AFTER the Rockies series, the Yankees travel to the Minnesota Twins and the Boston Red Sox next week. The Twins are a Postseason team right now and obviously the Red Sox are DEFENDING champs so that is a HUGE roadtrip for the Bronx Bombers.

There are a TON of FORMER Rockies that will dawn the Yankee Pinstripes this weekend so THANK YOU to the Rockies for giving us their GREAT players.

PROBABLE PITCHERS

Game ONE: Tonight- JA Happ vs Kyle Freeland

Game TWO: Saturday Afternoon- Masahiro Tanaka vs Antonio Senzatela

Game THREE: Sunday Afternoon- James Paxton vs German Marquez

The Yankees are the BEST team in baseball and that is the way it SHOULD be.
