The Jets are INTENTIONALLY pissing me off

Can somebody please come and KILL me?

This is GROUNDBREAKING for me, that THREE blogs in a row are about the SAME topic on the SAME day. I started out the day being EXTREMELY OPTIMISTIC, then started to get LESS OPTIMISTIC and now I am about to get PISSED OFF.

This is a TERRIBLE idea for the Jets and I am 100% positive that this is the “BIG SPLASH” that the Jets are going to make in Free Agency. I do NOT understand why the Jets are going to sign Bridgewater who has not been a CONSISTENT starter in the NFL in almost THREE years by the time next season rolls around. He got seriously injured in August of 2016 and has not started a game since January of 2016, which was a playoff loss to the Seahawks.

Teddy Bridgewater was a GREAT quarterback in 2015 but he is not going to be the same after his injury and I do not think that he is the ANSWER that the Jets are looking for at quarterback. He can be a GREAT backup quarterback in this league, but I do not think that he is going to be a GOOD starting quarterback in the NFL anymore. This deal is OBVIOUSLY not official yet, but I will be interested to see what other moves they make in Free Agency leading up to the draft.

I wanted the Jets to draft a quarterback at the SIXTH pick in the draft, but this signing is a way for the Jets to JUSTIFY not drafting a quarterback at that spot. Despite signing Bridgewater, the Jets should STILL draft a quarterback with their first round pick and it would be a REAL SHAME if they drafted Baker Mayfield with that pick.

I know that Mayfield is not the BEST quarterback in the draft, but the Jets are DOOMED for ETERNITY, so it does not matter who comes here, they are all going to LOSE. Mayfield has been in the headlines A LOT throughout his college career and was the MOST exciting player to watch in College Football last season. The Jets are going to 4-12 for the rest of my EXISTENCE on this planet, so having Mayfield on the roster will add some EXCITEMENT to Jet games on Sundays and I will not have SUICIDAL thoughts after every game.

I feel like in EVERY blog, I say that the Jets NEVER do what their fan base wants them to do and that is PROVED correct once again as they are NOT going to listen to us and SIGN Teddy Bridgewater.
