NFL Week 14 Picks

Everybody needs to make some money for the Holidays

I can count on ONE hand, how many weeks are left in the NFL season. After this weekend, every single team will have only THREE games to make that FINAL playoff push or TANK for a high draft pick. I have been REALLY GOOD this season and am currently TWENTY TWO games over .500, with only FOUR weeks left in the season, I am looking to finish the season off STRONG. Teams are looking to get into the Playoffs and you can find my outlook on the two conferences right here, AFC and NFC. As always the recap of last week’s picks are down below.

Week 13 Recap-

Game 1- My Pick- Redskins outright, Actual- Cowboys outright

Game 2- My Pick- Pats outright, Actual- Pats outright

Game 3- My Pick- Jets outright, Actual- Jets outright

Game 4- My Pick- Saints outright, Actual- Saints outright

Game 5- My Pick- Seahawks outright, Actual- Seahawks outright

Game 6- My Pick- Steelers outright, Actual- Steelers won but did not cover

Record for Week 14- 4-2, Overall Record after FOURTEEN weeks- 51-29

The games of this week are the Saints at the Falcons, the Vikings at the Panthers, the Eagles at the Rams, the Jets at the Broncos, the Ravens at the Steelers, AND the Pats at the Dolphins

Game 1- Thursday Night, the Saints at the Falcons (Line- Falcons -2.5)

The Saints are currently the FOURTH best team in the NFC and looking to move up in the standings. They will take on the Falcons on the ROAD tonight, looking to CLINCH their division and go to the Playoffs. I do not agree with the line in this game and am going to POUND on the Saints. I think the Saints win this game outright, but if Vegas has the Falcons as the favorites then I LOVE the Saints in this game.

Game 2- Sunday Afternoon, the Vikings at the Panthers (Line- Vikings -2.5)

The NFC is has THREE match ups this week amongst PROBABLE playoff teams, and this game is one of them. The Vikings are currently the ONE seed in the NFC, while the Panthers are the FIFTH. The winner of this game will inch closer to the Playoffs, while the loser is not far behind in securing a playoff berth. I will take the Vikings AND the points in this game, because I think they are the better of the two teams right now.

Game 3- Sunday Late Afternoon, the Eagles at the Rams (Line- Rams -2.5)

This is the THIRD game between two playoff teams in the NFC. The Eagles may already have CLINCHED their division by the time they play on Sunday, and IF they have not, then they can do so by winning this game, so they will take this game seriously. The Rams are in a TIGHT battle with the Seahawks for the division and need every win they can get to remain ATOP the NFC West. I am going to pick the Eagles to WIN this game, who will bounce back from a tough loss last week and get ready for the playoffs.

Game 4- Sunday Late Afternoon, the Jets at the Broncos (Line- Pick Em)

This game is going to be so bad, but I WILL watch it and fully analyze it afterwards. NEITHER team is going to make the Playoffs, so this game is for PRIDE and the line makes NO SENSE to me. The Jets are the better team right now, but to have this game as a Pick Em, I am POUNDING on the Jets to WIN this game and further BOTCH their draft positioning. I am so confident in this game that I am going to make it my LOCK OF THE WEEK.

Game 5- Sunday Night, the Ravens at the Steelers (Line- Steelers -5.5)

You know what they say, when this game rolls around, “THROW out the Record books when these two teams PLAY”. This game is going to be a defensive battle and I have been wrong in picking the Steelers the last two weeks, so I might just have to PICK them again this week again for the goof off it. Both teams are battling for the Playoffs and the Steelers can CLINCH the division with a win on Sunday Night, so I am going to take them AND the points in this game.

Game 6- Monday Night. the Pats at the Dolphins (Line- Pats -10.5)

No point in wasting my time with this game. The Pats ROLL in this game and WIN by at least TWENTY points.

My picks for this week are the Saints, the Vikings, the Eagles, the Jets, the Steelers, the Pats. Check back next week to see how I do.
