College Football Week 12 Picks

Guess who does not have a losing record anymore

Welcome to the hottest College Football picks show on the planet. I have gone 4-2 in the last two weeks and I am now back over .500. The games this week are terrible so it was really hard to find good games to pick but I have come with my best six. After this week there are only two weeks left before Selection Sunday so you can find my playoff picture right here.

Record for Week 11- 4-2, Overall record after 11 Weeks- 30-29

The games for this week are Rhode Island at Towson, Texas A&M at Ole Miss, Oklahoma at Kansas, Iowa State at Baylor, LSU at Tennessee, Michigan at Wisconsin

Game 1- Saturday Afternoon, Rhode Island at Towson

These two teams are at the bottom of the CAA and both would love to get a win to end their season on a high note. Towson has been playing great as of late winning two of their last three games with their only loss coming in overtime over a ranked team on the road. It is senior day for Towson so the emotions will be high for this game and this senior class has not seen the playoffs in their time here, so they would love to cap off their careers with a win. I like Towson in this game, simply because they are at home.

Game 2- Saturday Night, Texas A&M at Ole Miss (Line- Ole Miss -3.5)

This is a tough game for the Aggies as they almost every year lose to the Rebels. Ole Miss has not been good this season following a scandal in the offseason and will love to beat the Aggies before they get thrashed by in state rivals Mississippi State. This game is going to be close and both coaches go into this game, looking to save their jobs, but I do not think either will be to. I like Ole Miss and the points in this game, simply because they are at home.

Game 3- Saturday Late Afternoon, Oklahoma at Kansas (Line- Oklahoma -36.5)

Oklahoma controls its own destiny to the playoffs, if they win the remaining games on their schedule, then they are in. They should easily beat Kansas this week and rest their starters in the process. The point spread is too high in this game, because at some point in the game, Oklahoma is going to take its foot of the pedal and rest everyone so just for that reason I like Kansas against the spread in this game.

Lock of the Week- Saturday Afternoon, Iowa State at Baylor (Line- Iowa State -8.5)

I have been big on Iowa State at home but this week they are on the road against a Baylor team that has had some good games but is trash overall. Iowa State will trounce the Bears in this game and I think they win this game by at least three touchdowns. Iowa State has enough quality wins to possibly get a New Year’s Six bowl, so they need some blowout wins to strengthen their resume.

Upset of the Week- Saturday Night, LSU at Tennessee (Line- LSU -15.5)

Tennessee finally pulled the trigger and fired Butch Jones this week, who had a really disappointing run for the Vols. They are going to go with Brady Hoke as their interim coach for the rest of the season and I love to ride with my interim coaches. The President of the Interim Head Coach Club, Coach O will be on the opposite sideline who has struggled as the full time coach. I do think that LSU finds a way to win this game, but the difference on the scoreboard will be less than two touchdowns.

College Gameday game- Saturday Afternoon, Michigan at Wisconsin (Line- Wisconsin -7.5)

This is the best game of the week, but it does not mean anything for one time, while it means the world to the other. Michigan has been disappointing this season and they would need a miracle to win their division, but crazier things have happened in the past so they will show up to this game. Wisconsin needs to win this game to possibly get into the Playoffs and a blowout win would help them even more. Because this game is during the day, I expect Wisconsin the run the ball all game long and easily win this game and also cover the spread.

My picks for this week are Towson, Ole Miss, Kansas, Iowa State, Tennessee, and Wisconsin. Check back next week to see how I do.
