The Yankees have finally arrived in the Bronx. They will start their home part of their schedule in a couple of hours. They will take on the Rays in a three-game set. Michael Pineda will be taking the ball for the Bronx Bombers against Alex Cobb of the Devil Rays. Pineda struggled in his first start of the season, which happened to be against the Devil Rays. Hopefully, Pineda can find a way to have a quality start, which would be great for the Yanks. Probable Pitchers for the rest of the series are Luis Severino and Masahiro Tanaka for the Yanks, and Blake Snell and Matt Andriese for the Devil Rays. These two teams played last week, with the Devil Rays taking two out of three games at the Trop. They come in to the Bronx with a 5-2 record and making me a little bit scared about the Bald Challenge. The Devil Rays’ offense has gone above expectations and been able to support their good pitching. The Yanks come in with a record of 2-4 and it looks like it is getting late early. The offense and starting pitching has struggled thus far and they need to figure it out before things get late. With injuries to Gary Sanchez and Greg Bird, the Yanks are going to rely on MVP candidate Ronald Torreyes for some offense this week. The Yankees need to get two out of three games this series if they want to play meaningful games in September.
